Carson`s Grill in Owens Cross Roads

Great service! Best bar around town. You can have a burger or French dip with a beer while sitting on an amazing patio. In colder months, there's a fire pit and heaters. Many nights there is live music outside, or inside depending on weather. The best thing Carson's has is multiple TV's. Any football fan knows this is a major plus. No obnoxious drunks arguing over what game to watch. Well, they might argue, but not for lack of televisions. Steve, the owner, he drops by occasionally. When you meet him, you'll realize why his business is so successful. He is a people person, which I think makes all the difference when you're running a bar/restaurant. With or without drinks or football, definitely worth your time and money to check out Carson's. The burgers really are amazing!!!

Had ribs here, tasted like microwave dog food. Bartender was nice enough but wasnt wearing a mask. I wouldn't recommend this place

Food is always great! Service is good as well. The bacon fries are a fantastic app.

Sat down at the bar and waited 15 minutes while the bartender walked by me 25 or 30 times without ever acknowledging me or even making eye contact. In the meantime she continued to serve others at the bar and stopped to have conversations with customers. Finally, after more than 15 minutes had passed, two other guys came in to the bar. She had menus in front of them before they sat down and immediately took their drink orders. At that point I just decided screw this, got up and walked out. As I got up the guy sitting next to me just looked at me and said, "Looks like you're surrendering". I just replied "I guess I'm not getting served here" then walked out

Gross soggy food, the STRANGEST DECOR EVER and bad service. NEVER AGAIN

Waited 20 minutes for a burger and a Reuben sandwich. "Thinly sliced, piled high corned beef." Not in this Universe. Yuck!! Four small "partial" slices, overcooked. Good fries and onion rings. Flat pop. Do NOT recommend.

Great atmosphere for a local bar. The outside area is lovely! Nice lighting, plenty of seating, and just a fun/comfortable feeling in general. Bartenders and staff are helpful and quick. I have not eaten there, just been for drinks a few times, so I can't speak for the dining part. Oh, and all of the booths have their own TV in them so you can watch whatever game at your table and be able to see regardless of where you're sitting. Awesome!!

Great food; friendly atmosphere.

The burgers are always really good. You guys need to add an option for a fried egg on the burger, you're missing the boat on that one. Good experience, good staff, a good place to go eat.

They will serve you alcohol yes but if you order food they dont offer or ask if you want a soda or water you ask yourself. They do have a very cute staff of women that work at the bar compared to most bars. Trump train friendly.

Went twice during Covid-19 stay at home when only curbside pickup was available, the first time was good but the second time was less than desirable. Went again last night and was able to go in and sit down for dinner. Ordered the Chicken Cordon-Blue with baked potato - the chicken was good but the potato want cooked, had to send it back to get a cooked one, ordered Chicken Nachos - had to search for the chicken on this dish. Ordered Spinach Dip - it was watery spinach in a bowl and lacked any flavor. Service was good though.

Nice "hole-in-the-wall" for food, and apparently drinks, music and fun. Indoor and outdoor seating. Booths and bar. Lunch time, food was AMAZING and served within reasonable time. Service was friendly enough, but a few hiccups will make us watchful next time. We'll definitely be back.

Nice place with multiple large HD screens tuned to what Ebert you want to watch. The chicken tenders salad is large, gay, and tasty. Very reasonable.

Best bar/restaurant in the area! Great atmosphere and they always have specials on food and drinks. They have a cool patio area outside that you can eat and drink in as well. You can also enjoy bingo, trivia, karaoke and other events on certain nights. But my favorite part about the whole bar are the shuffle board tables located on the left side of the room. They're are nice tables and provides lots of entertainment.

And they Hampton Cove area, I believe Carson's is the best place to go get something to eat together. Very good food very good drinks very good service. Highly recommend to anyone.

Friendly atmosphere, good food, great beer. Try the reaper sauce for the wings, it's deliciously hot.

The food was good, but the tables and areas around the tables are very dirty. There was a personal tv at our table that was covered in food splatters and the corners of the seats and the part of the table against the wall was gross. I looked around to see what other tables looked like and the booths/tables against the walls seem to be the culprits. None the less, it makes me wonder what else is dirty. We also never saw the waitress except to take our orders, bring our food, and bring the checks.

I enjoyed a delicious lunch at Carson's today. Plan to go as often as I can in the future.

I'm new to the area, and have already been here a few times. Great place for a quick beer and bar food. Never had a bad experience here.

It is a nice local place. For what you pay the food is good. Our waitresses have always been lovely.

My wife and I really enjoyed this place after our first visit but have soon realized that a lot of change in the way they serve customers has us looking for a new place we can go to unwind. Hampton Cove doesn't have a variety of pubs in the area so we will have to wait for Cecil Ashburn to open up so we can find a new place to have drinks. Our last visit helped us decide Carson's is not the place we once enjoyed and will take our business elsewhere

Great place for lunch and they’re usually pretty quick. Really good burgers and onion rings. Staff is usually very friendly and keep drinks filled for you. I can only speak for the lunch time frame, but I’m sure this would be a good place to hang out with friends and watch a football game.

I am not a bar guy and I can't speak to that. However, Hampton Cove is terribly slight on restaurants and it is a pleasure to have this little community Pub to stand in the gap. Although the menu is limited, what they offer is very good, portioned appropriately, and pleasantly priced. It is a regular of ours and we all look forward to our free Birthday Meal. You have to get on that list though, it is a coupon that comes in the mail.

What an awesome hang out yo! It is an older crows and kinda chill unless me and my homies show up, hahaha. Super friendly and attending staff, great food, great atmosphere.
